The hotel has comfortable and clean rooms, but could benefit from some updates. The service was a mix of friendly and rude encounters. Its location is excellent near a picturesque lake but close to a busy road. The dining options were decent, and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel rooms were huge, even for two persons with a lot of luggage, making it very suitable for traveling in Latvia. The service was very friendly and helpful, but some staff members were not as polite. The location was great for us, being close to Riga and with the added bonus of free parking. The dining options were nice, with a variety of dishes and Latvian specialties, though lacking vegetarian choices.
